The C9070 Pro machine has been installed at the company's Woking headquarters, which will enable the business to reduce bottlenecks in its print operation.
Repropoint's latest Canon machine, which replaces an older Canon CLC3200, will handle work such as short-run training manuals.
Managing director Steve Hallett said the new machine, which can print at speeds up to 1,200dpi and handle stocks up to 300gsm, is the latest in a long line of Canon investments made by the business over the past 20 years.
"The imageRunner Advance C9070 Pro will allow us to reduce print bottlenecks because of its faster print speed and reduced downtimes and has already helped reduce our production times significantly," he said.
The company, which also has sites in Guildford, Portsmouth and Southampton, employs 76 staff and has an annual turnover of £6m.
Each of its operations specialises in an individual service, such as banner and sign printing, CAD, cross-media and design, or book printing. Last month, Repropoint appointed Paul Boosey to spearhead growth in and around the Portsmouth branch of its print operation.
