Kate Conneely at insolvency practitioner Rimes & Co confirmed to PrintWeek this afternoon (1 July) that the firm was appointed on Tuesday (28 June).
Waged Staff have not been paid since 8 April, while salaried employees have not received money since the end of March.
Initially the company's directors filed a notice of intent to appoint an administrator on 13 April, however the intention passed without appointment.
The company ceased trading and staff were sent home on 26 May, just over two weeks after they had been promised by directors Finn Payne and Tom Payne that they would be paid on 13 May.
Employees were also told that the company was going into administration on 26 May, but it has taken more than a month for Rimes & Co to be appointed, during which time the employees have not been able to claim redundancy or find other jobs.
Tom Payne told PrintWeek on 31 May that an announcement was due "in the next week"; however he, as well as Finn Payne, have not commented on the situation since.
Following the announcement, one employee told PrintWeek: "Hopefully now we can get our money. It's been hell for the past two months, we haven't had a clue what was going on, it finally seems like we can put an end to this nightmare.
Another added: "I have spoken to Rimes & Co and they have asked everyone to send their details to them so they can get the forms ready to send out, however they are waiting on the boys to pass on the list of ex-employees so they can send out the correct forms."
It had appeared as though Maurice Payne was set to merge with Oxford-based Nuffield Press; however, Nuffield went into administration earlier this week. It is unclear at this stage if either business will be saved.
