Kevin Tyler, Red Tie’s head of business growth UK, and guest speaker Marcus Clifford from the BPIF will present options for business to business and business to consumer routes as well as examining the options for collaborating through the supply chain to gain a competitive advantage.
The sessions, which are aimed at directors, business owners and sales and accounts teams, will provide information on implementing a web-to-print system into a business and how to successfully sell web-to-print.
Delegates will be given insight into the most effective ways of accessing key decision makers within a business and how to develop a sound relationship as a web-to-print partner.
The seminars run, which from 9.30am to 1pm followed by a buffet lunch, will take place on 22 May at Huddersfield Golf Club and 23 May at CP House in Watford.
Tyler said that the focus of the day would be on ensuring printers are able to develop an effective web-to-print strategy.
He added: "For business to consumer models there is no point having a fantastic W2P site if you aren't driving any traffic to your site and equally from a business to business point of view we will be talking about how to really put across a compelling solution to your client. It's not just about selling, it's about making it relevant."
Tyler said that the print industry had "a definite weakness with regards to selling solutions", with a tendancy to work on a job by job basis focusing on the specifications and technical details.
"When selling W2P you need to have more of a global overview of what customers needs are so we want to make sure they know the right questions to be asking," he added.
