As well as supplying bureau printed labels by flexo or thermal transfer overprinting, the Sri Lankan office will also hold stock for retailer Marks & Spencer. The 220sqm site is situated outside the country's commercial capital Colombo.
The operation is being headed by Luvi Seimon, who has 13 years' experience in the industry in Sri Lanka.
"Our new venture in Sri Lanka is part of our continued growth and expansion in the global labelling and identification solutions market," said Prisym ID chief executive Mick Daw.
