Priority sets up print division

Priority Newstrade & Mailing has established a design and print division, Priority Digital as part of a 500,000 investment.

The Wiltshire firm has also appointed a sales executive, Garry Smith to the division, who will be responsible for expanding the firm's customer base in Wiltshire, Hampshire and Dorset. Newstrade & Mailing general manager Paul Butcher said the mailing house had set up the division in April as the business looked to expand in the handling of variable data.

Butcher said the digital division was now handling a variety of short-run, quick turnaround work for a number of clients, which it was now looking to expand.

These include colour cards for estate agents, school newsletters and a number of items for insurance companies, including quotation forms and cover notes. Since setting up the division several new pieces of equipment had been acquired, including a Xerox DocuColor 6060 and a folder and guillotine.
