Print Wright and DNA bought out of administration by Greenshoots

Print Wright and DNA Printing Solutions have been bought by Greenshoots Print and Direct Mail after the two companies went into administration last month.

Print Wright ceased trading on 16 February when joint administrators Jeremy Woodside and Ben Barrett, of RSM Tenon, were appointed to the £2m-turnover litho and digital business.

A spokeswoman for the administrator said the Ipswich-based company was closed after RSM Tenon was appointed by an asset based lender.

DNA Printing Solutions went into administration on 10 February and was bought along with Print Wright on 26 February. The name of the administrator was unknown at the time of writing.

Greenshoots Print and Direct Mail, formerly known as TTG Baron Promotions, was renamed on 5 March, according to Companies House.

Managing director Mark Brown said: "The existing company was renamed to take the two print companies under its wing.
"We will combine the two together and operate them under the Greenshoots Print and Direct Mail name."

Brown added that Print Wright's specialist machines and hand-bookbinding facilities had been bought as part of the purchase.

When quizzed about further potential acquisitions, he did not rule out the possibility, but would not comment at this time.

Greenshoots Print and Direct Mail, also based in Ipswich, employs 30 staff, which includes nine from DNA's 10-staff business and 15 from Print Wright's 35-staff company.
