Print Factory lands two-year Tussauds contract

Tussauds Group (TTG) has awarded a two-year contract to The Print Factory (TPF) to cover print, direct mail, storage and distribution.

Winning the UK tender, for an undisclosed sum, adds to TPF's growing portfolio in the leisure sector, which includes the Virgin Group and Ladbrokes.

"It's an exciting sector to work in with a very fast turnaround," said TPF account director Catherine Burke. "It is a great contract for the company and Tussauds is a name that everyone recognises."

According to Burke, TTG was drawn to TPF's ability to handle both print management and production. "They also liked our enthusiasm and that we have a 'can do' culture," she said.

TTG's portfolio of tourist attractions includes Madame Tussauds, Alton Towers, Warwick Castle, Thorpe Park and Chessington World of Adventures.

"We are a fast-moving operation with tight deadlines and no room to compromise on quality," said TTG procurement manager John Drake. "We put a great deal of time and effort into the selection because we knew we had to get it right."
