For a limited period in early 2009, the TEC 810-15 will be available with a 45% price reduction and will be sold at £65 plus VAT.

The gun will come with a special extension nozzle, silicone rubber release mat, metal stand and a sample pack of 15mm glue sticks.

Bill Howlett, sales director at Power Adhesives, said: "Thanks to our loyal customers, we have had a very successful year.

"With the current downturn in the economy we wanted to go a small way to cheering up our existing and new customers by giving them an opportunity to save money on our flagship product."

The TEC 810-15 is a high-output mid-range industrial glue gun designed to enable most bonding procedures to be undertaken quickly.

As soon as a second substrate is pressed against a material that is coated in the glue, the bond sets immediately.

The company claims most materials can be bonded with the same glue stick but special sticks are available for difficult substrates.
