The Pocklington, York-based booklet printer opted for the remarketed SM 52-5-P press, which was supplied by Day Graphic Systems.
Mark Crabtree, director of Post Haste Printers, said that the press is helping it to provide a "faster, more cost-efficient and higher-quality job" on repeat booklet work.
He added: "It’s not just about increasing turnover, but making sure our customers continue to receive the best service we can provide."
The five-staff company produces more than 3m booklets a year for a range of sectors that include advertising, museums and charities.
Its latest press, which runs alongside Ryobi and Fuji two-colour presses, will produce four-colour work for a market that increasingly "wants a colour option", according to Crabtree.
"The press Day Graphic Systems offered us met our requirements exactly and fits well with the demands for more colour from our customers," he added.
