Polestar Chantry prints Haymarket-published X-Factor magazine

Polestar Chantry is printing the newly-launched X Magazine, which features news and features covering the latest series of hit TV show The X Factor.

The weekly magazine, which is published by Haymarket Network on behalf of Fremantle Media and Syco Entertainment, was launched on 14 September.

Repro on the 300mm x 230mm-sized title, which has a cover price of £1.95, was handled in-house by Haymarket Pre-press.

The first issue of X Magazine is exclusive to Tesco prior to a nationwide retail rollout following the initial launch period.

Highlights of the maiden issue include an interview with Simon Cowell, brand new Cheryl Cole pictures from her latest video and first listen to songs from her new album.

The magazine will continue to be produced beyond the end of the current series and will likely have a 51-issue year.

Peter Robinson, senior editor in the magazine, said: "X is a music magazine that’s totally different to anything we’ve seen before. It boasts the best editorial team of any pop magazine in 20 years so it looks brilliant, feels fresh and is both smart and funny."
