The 4,000cph Pantera, which is replacing a 3,600cph Tigra, will allow the trade finisher to take on A4 landscape work.
As part of its expansion plans, the firm has taken a 400sqm unit next door to its existing 500sqm base. It is moving its existing kit into the new unit, and will install the binder at its present factory at the end of April.
The 500,000 turnover company specified its binder with 16 feeders, reject gate, ASIR (Automatic Signature Recognition) and a Merit trimmer.
According to Berwick ,the eight-staff firm is considering a further investment in a waste extraction system for the Pantera.
