The Display Department will launch at the end of August after the company has installed three new Durst Rho 700 HS corrugated machines, in a €2m (£1.67m) investment.
The new Dursts bring Pixart's tally to four and are specified with six colours plus varnish or white ink.
Chief executive Matteo Rigamonti said: "The white ink is very important to ensure higher quality on specific media, most of all for printing on cardboard which we think is optimum choice for marketing tools such as display, which are competitively priced and are suitable for very short time promotional activities."
The company has also installed new die-cutting machinery and a second custom built system that helps pack the display work to ensure it is not damaged in transit.
The new service will offer users free design templates that can be customised to produce a range of display materials on cardboard, Polionda corrugated plastics and Forex substrates.
Orders are printed, die-cut and sent to the customer ready to be assembled within a 48-hour turnaround.
Rigamonti added: "We have been working for months on this project, and now we are ready to present these new proposals to the market. Quality products and services without compromise are the foundations of our company philosophy. For this reason, we have invested significant resources to give rise to a new department entirely dedicated to displays.
"Thhe high productivity of the HS system, 80% more productive than standard configurations, we can offering displays at an extremely competitive price, without having to compromise on quality."
