Pinstripe Print Group appointed to Dudley council print framework

Pinstripe Print Group is one of 14 print suppliers that have been appointed to a three-year print services framework contract by Dudley Council.

Also appointed to the framework were: C3 Midlands; Callprint; Craneprint; Droitwich Print; Funky Concepts; Heron Press; John Price Printers; LG Davis; LionFPG; Ortek Graphics; Premier Print and Promotions; Silk Group; and Wolverhapton City Council's in-plant.

The £150,000-a-year framework covers the supply of printed items that Dudley MBC's in-house printing and copying service cannot produce, including stationery, full colour work, large format, promotional items, web offset and signage.

The framework is scheduled to run from 1 April 2014 to 31 March 2017 with an option to extend for a further 2 one year period subject to satisfactory performance and price.

Pinstripe Print Group managing director Nigel Lyon said: "This is another great win for us and proves our ability to meet the exacting standards required to work with Councils, Universities and top quality businesses.

"It confirms our strategy of continually working to standards and actually proving you have them. This is not only the way to work, but is also a pre-requisite in the modern business world."

Dave Vickers, account director on the Dudley Council Framework, added: "Pinstripe’s experience, versatility, and the fact we work with many Councils and similar organisations means we can add real value under this contract.”

In addition to its latest contract win, Pinstripe also works under a further 14 Framework Agreements and several Preferred Supplier Agreements for public sector buyers including Birmingham City Council and Coventry and Solihull Council.

Pinstripe also became the first print group in the West Midlands last year to become a certified carbon balanced printer with The World Land Trust, through paper merchant group, PaperlinX.
