The London-based reseller will supply the device, which launched at Fespa 2013, with immediate effect.
The Latex 3000 is suitable for both indoor and outdoor wide-format products such as billboards, banners, textiles, self-adhesive vinyl and truck curtains.
It prints at 1,200dpi in six colours and has HP’s Ink Optimizer, with production speeds for indoor applications of 77sqm/hr and outdoor quality printed at 120sqm/hr. The machine can print on single rolls up to 3.2m wide or two rolls of up to 1.6m wide each.
“It makes total sense for Perfect Colours to provide the Latex 3000, not only for our ever-expanding base of HP Latex users in the UK but also those hungry for a high-productivity alternative in roll-to-roll,” said Perfect Colours sales director Jon Telling.
“In line with our other recent portfolio additions and our dedication to service, we're confident that Perfect Colours now provides the most comprehensive range of graphics production options in the country.”
Earlier this year the business expanded its range with InkTec’s Jetrix range of UV flat-bed printers and Epson’s SureColor F Series textile printers.
Perfect Colours also supplies printing equipment from companies including Canon, Durst, Mutoh and KIP alongside a wide range of inks, media, software, colour management and warranty products
