Administrator Kroll was appointed to Leeds-based Martin Shelton on 26 May with 66 staff being made redundant. The company's last set of accounts to 31 March 2004 show pre-tax losses of 1.3m against a turnover of 6.1m.
An auction sale of the firm's equipment is being held by Eddisons in Leeds on 19 July. Pegasus National managing director Fergus Kilroy said the calendar and diary divisions of Martin Shelton had been his main point of interest.
"We felt it was worth purchasing and will keep the name of the business," he said. Some 20 additional staff will now be taken on by Stockport-based Pegasus following the acquisition.
