The BPIF and Amicus launched the Agreement at the end of March. This was followed by a consultation period, with roadshows held across the country.
BPIF strategic partnership director Andy Brown said members were "generally supportive, but some issues were raised."
"The whole point of consulting is to listen and endeavour to address any issues." He declined, however, to detail the nature of the concerns raised.
The BPIF had hoped to launch the Partnership Agreement and Joint Code of Practice at a special conference this month, but that is now likely to be delayed until the autumn.
Amicus GPMS assistant general secretary Tony Burke said: "We have been notified and are making arrangements to have a further discussion."
Partnership deal hit by delay
Feedback from BPIF members means the federation will have to hold further talks with Amicus GPMS over the new Partnership Agreement.
