Finch joins Paperhat from the Lateral Group, where he was appointed global executive director, responsible for group strategy and BPO marketing, in January last year, leaving just 11 months later.
Prior to this Finch spent 11 years at Williams Lea, where he was responsible for the firm's UK and European BPO business.
Outlining his focus with Paperhat, Finch, who took up his new role last week, told PrintWeek: “The organisation is on an aggressive growth and acquisition trail. My plans are to bring a combined services background and an international perspective to optimise the acquisition strategy of Paperhat."
He added: “From what I have seen from the ongoing acquisitions, it is clearly a very exciting time to be involved with Paperhat."
Finch said that he would work closely with chairman Ray Peck and chief executive Tim Peppiatt to support the company’s growth plan, using the expertise he brings with him.
Commenting on Finch’s appointment, Peppiatt said: “David’s experience will complement and bolster the board’s ambition to drive Paperhat’s global growth agenda. He joins Paperhat at a time of unprecedented new business success and exciting acquisition activity.”
