Overseas operations boost HH's half-year results

HH Print Management has posted a 100% increase in pre-tax earnings, on the back of a 16% rise in revenue, in its group half-year results published this week.

For the six months to 30 September 2008, HH recorded total sales of £47.8m, up 16% from £41.2m the year before.

Meanwhile, EBITDA doubled from £900,000 last year to £1.8m, which HH said was a reflection of "improving margins and a tight control of overheads".

The Surrey-based print manager added that it was well-placed to achieve its full-year forecast revenue of £101m and EBITDA of £4.9m.

On- or above-target performance in the group's primary operating businesses in the UK and Europe was supported by growth in its overseas operations, according to the company.

HH said: "Our operations in India are reaching maturity more quickly than anticipated and a number of contracts have already been secured for our US operations based in New York, which launched earlier this year."
