Two versions of the Software as a service (SaaS) tool are available: JobView is aimed at print for pay operations, while In-House Service targets in-plants producing wide-format print.

The software is free for companies using OnyxLinks, a new web-based customer support tool, and requires the use of the latest 7.3.2 version of Onyx's software packages.

"With this family of SaaS products we've expanded our portfolio to address the growing need of print providers to have on-demand access to information about their printing operations," said Onyx chief executive Jeb Hurley.

JobView provides information about individual jobs, including ink and media costs, and also allows production trends to be tracked including the usage of different printers and substrates.

In-House uses dashboards to display job information and allows users to quickly generate custom reports.
