Adding import, export and conversion for .PSD files enables the software to provide the original image and the enhanced version in two layers within the same file, which allows users to view the effects in layout applications such as Adobe InDesign.

Files imported in any supported format can be output as .PSD.

For print use the software can set maximum and minimum dot values for greyscale and CMYK files, enabling files to be optimised for different printing conditions and presses, preserving highlight and shadow tones.

Additionally the software can now check image resolution against user defined maxima and minima.

OneVision will demonstrate the new features at newspaper trade show Ifra next month in Hamburg (4-6 October).
