ODC recruits management team to drive owned-centre sales

On Demand Communications (ODC), owner of the Kall Kwik and Prontaprint networks, has appointed David Storey as national operations director of its franchisor-owned centres.

Storey's appointment forms part of ODC's "owned-centre/managed-channel strategy", which has been developed over the past 15 months since its acquisition of Kall Kwik Middlesborough.

ODC also confirmed its intention to appoint a national sales director who will be tasked with "working with the local sales teams in ODC-owned centres to drive sales".

In addition, ODC has announced the departure at the end of the year of former Kall Kwik Middlesborough owner Piers Mitchell, who has assisted ODC in the development of its owned-centre strategy.

ODC group chief executive Kealan Lennon said: "Since our acquisition of Kall Kwik Middlesbrough, we have worked closely with a highly experienced management team sharing the combined industry knowledge, competencies and motivation required to achieve positive results.

"With Middlesbrough’s succession planning complete and a management structure in place to deliver scalable sales and operations across our owned centres, we hope to further build on this great success.

"Piers has been an asset to the company and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours."
