The product will target commercial print shops and corporate printrooms but the CS520 will not replace Oc's existing CPS series of printers.

"The products target different environments," said Oc corporate communications manager Luuk Bruning.

"The CPS series targets more heavy-duty users in markets including graphic arts."

Bruning added that Oc does take Konica Minolta kit and modifies it to Oc's own standards.

The company bought US-based Imagistics last year, which distributes Konica Minolta equipment. The CS520 can print at speeds of 51ppm for monochrome and 37ppm for colour.
