Northprint's 40th set for success

Northprint is already proving a hit with visitors and the show has yet to open its doors. Still with a few weeks to go, registered visitor numbers are significantly up and already exceed 2005s total number of visitors.

Northprint 2007 celebrates its 40th birthday and visitors will be suitably rewarded with the chance to see significantly more kit and exhibitors at what is being described as the only exhibition in the UK dedicated to mainstream graphic arts in 2007.

To help print buyers and printers get more out of the show, PrintBuyer is chairing a series of workshops on the first two days of the show (details below), Tuesday 24 and Wednesday 25 April.

The workshops will run for 30 minutes from mid-morning through to 4pm and consist of a 20-minute presentation and a 10-minute session for questions. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. To register, go to the Northprint website at www.northprintexpo.co.uk.

Canon UK will also be running a seminar programme at the show, inviting customers to “See Digital Differently,” explaining how technologies can support the print industry. Ben Milford, head of professional marketing, Canon UK, said the programme has been designed to help customers reach profitability with digital and will provide attendees with realistic advice. For more details, visit www.canon.co.uk/northprint.

Canon is also sponsoring PrintBuyer’s inaugural Northprint podcast. This short introduction to the show also features details of the workshops and informative interviews from industry experts. To listen to the podcast, click here.

Products trails designed as a quick reference guide will highlight must-see products in the pre-press, press and finishing areas.
