The Californian firm's products include: side sealers, high-speed L sealers, shrink tunnels, carton sealers and pallet stretch wrappers.
"Preferred is a world leader in the manufacturing and design of general packaging equipment," said Norpak managing director John Hewitt.

Norpak is currently sending engineers and technical staff to Preferred for training, to enable it to supply support for UK users and potentially modify the machines for customers specific needs.

"Every customer is under pressure to offer something different, therefore off-the-shelf-items do not always satisfy 100% of their requirements," said Hewitt.

Bradford-based Norpak manufactures wrapping machines, gluing and labelling systems and pick and place feeders.
