The company has invested in a Goss Uniliner, alongside a Schur K stacker and a Schur in-line strapper.
Operations director Paul Jordan told PrintWeek that the installation, which is due to take place in March, is expected to be online by June.
He added: "Our existing press was full so this investment will allow us to bring in more work. We hope to get ourselves into a good position for when we see an economic upturn."
The Newbury Weekly News Group print room runs 24-hour shifts from Tuesday to Friday, and a day shift on Monday.
As well as producing its own Newbury Weekly News, in a run of around 28,000, the company also prints titles including Daltons Weekly, Isle of Wight County Press, Maidenhead Advertiser, Henley Standard, Newquay Voice, Thameside & Glossop Reporter, Chinese Times, International Extra and Philippines Express.
