If possible, what positives are you able to draw on from the experiences of 202O?
The positives are, we as a company are stronger and more flexible than we thought we were in the beginning of 2020. And have adapted well, as have a lot of companies. Another positive is mental health. I believe there will be a better understanding and a more positive view because of the pandemic.
What trend do you think has been accelerated because of the pandemic?
I think a lot of companies that were not online, are now and will remain so in the future. I also think 3D printing has been accelerated because of its versatility.
What do you think will represent the single biggest opportunity for printers in 2021 and why?
That's a hard question to single out one thing. I think catching up with work that was put on hold will make a lot of printers busy.
What are your hopes for 2021?
That at some time in the year we can put most of this behind us and stay busy and start building our businesses up again.
We can't believe we're asking this question for the fourth year running: what is your one-word view on Brexit?
Underwhelmed.
What was the best piece of advice you have ever been given?
That I should go into perfect binding.
What, if anything, will you do differently in 2021?
Try to make more time for outside of work
What’s your favourite Christmas cracker joke?
They all make me laugh because they’re so bad.
Sprouts: yes or no?
They don't agree with me.
Are you making any New Year's resolutions? If so, what?
To try and get fitter. This year has taken its toll.
