However, the Possehl Group, which bought the web arm out of administration in January, said that the UK will not be one of those areas.
After it went into administration in November, Possehl Group bought Manroland's Augsburg web plant, while Manroland's sheetfed business was bought by UK-headquartered manufacturer Langleys Holdings in February.
Langley also bought the UK arm last week, while Possehl completed the GB break-up through its newly formed subsidiary Manroland Web Systems (UK) last week, which bought the press sales and services division.
Manroland Web Systems vice president of sales, service and marketing Peter Kuisle told PrintWeek: "Now the company is established, we need to get out into the market and visit all our customers, and explain how we move forward – and of course we hope to see most of them at Drupa."
Kuisle said Manroland Web Systems may team with Langley in some territories.
"There are countries where we believe we need our own set-up, like in the UK," he explained. "In others we will work with Langley. We need to go country by country and find the right solution."
The business will be headed by director John Ellis, who was formerly director of web sales at Manroland GB.
