The deal is for two KBA Compacta 818 64pp web presses, which will operate at its new 26,000sqm site in Wymondham, Norfolk.
"Our choice of KBA follows an extensive evaluation by NJP's technical team and management," said NJP managing director Bob Pitts. "This decision marks the start of our extensive investment programme and we are pleased that KBA will feature prominently as a key partner and supplier in these future plans."
Speculation over the identity of the press manufacturer has been rife over the past few months. NJP concluded its press-testing phase in the summer with trials at KBA and Heidelberg users on the Continent (PrintWeek, 19 August).
The first KBA press will be installed next year and NJP will relocate its 64pp Lithoman and 16pp Komori cover press to its new plant.
