Cicely Brown has joined the BPIF as head of corporate and external affairs, taking over from Mike Hopkins who has been made director of membership (PrintWeek, 14 December 2001). Brown, previously strategy manager at management consultancy Accenture, began her printing career at BPCC in 1988.
BPIF chief executive Michael Johnson said the appointment and restructuring of the federation were key to achieving its objectives. While Brown said her role provided an opportunity to promote the industry in national and European economic and political forums.
