Jasinska has worked at the business for three years, and previously headed up the high-end and creative online print firm’s engineering function.
She replaces Meri Williams, who joined Monzo Bank in August after two years at Moo.
Prior to joining the firm, Jasinska spent two years in tech roles at Photobox, and she brings a range of experience at different types and sizes of business to the new position including e-commerce, gaming and apps.
London-headquartered Moo has significantly ramped up its investment in technology as it aims to achieve £100m in sales. People costs related to tech development jumped by 66% to £6.4m at the company last year.
Moo founder and chief executive Richard Moross said Jasinska’s appointment made him “immensely proud” of the firm’s ability to develop talent from within.
“We’re continuing to grow at a rapid pace and Marta’s leadership firmly establishes technology at the heart of our expansion,” he said. “We’re excited to see Marta flourish in this role and inspire the next generation of tech talent.”
Jasinska described Moo as “a technology company at its core” and said the firm’s commitment to investment in that area created lots of opportunities. “I see the function as integral to Moo reaching and surpassing the £100m revenue landmark and achieving its vision of great design for everyone,” she said.
