Neston calls in administrators

Neston Colour has been placed into administration with the administrators looking for a sale of the business.

The Wirral-based web-offset firm went into administration on the 9 June, with Kroll Corporate Finance actively looking for a buyer for the past week.

The 10m turnover firm has a Heidelberg five-colour 8pp web press, and recently entered the 16pp arena with the purchase of a Komori System 38S11 last summer (PrintWeek, 3 July 2003).

At the time of PrintWeek going to press there was no further information available from either the administrators or the company itself as to whether a buyer had been found or was still being sought.
