The deal will enable MY to offer local supply to a number of the top 20 drug companies that have operations in Ireland.
MY European chief executive John Monks said: This strategic move is part of our think global, act local philosophy. We intend to double, if not triple, Gallaghers turnover.
Gallagher, based in Waterford, County Cork, has purpose-built 3,500m2 premises, but Monks said the firm could double its current capacity and add to its 40-strong workforce.
Were determined to continue our expansion in Europe, and elsewhere, by further investment and more acquisitions, said Monks.
