The software is designed to cover estimating, sales and marketing, stock control, purchasing and costing. The MIS will be implemented early this month.
"It allows us to be in more control of what comes into the business and what goes out," said Multi Labels director Nick Monk.
The Shuttleworth system is part of a wider 1m strategy to grow the business. The firm is to move into a 1,200m2 purpose built factory, with work expected to be concluded at the end of the year. There are plans to incorporate an "ink kitchen", which will be a department dedicated to mixing inks.
It is also looking to invest in a new press. Its stable includes a Mark Andy 2200 eight-colour UV machine.
"We place a high emphasis on research and development in new processes and developing label products with our customers," said Multi Labels managing director Kay Monk.
Multi Labels has a turnover of 2m. It plans to increase that figure to 2.3m as part of its expansion.
