The SigmaLine is its integrated production line for producing saddlestitched or bound books in one product. "We've had very high levels of interest," said Muller Martini UK director of sales Roger Cartwright. "Usually finishing is supplied by the digital press firm, we've turned that around." At Drupa it will be shown with a Delphax CR2000 printer, although the firm intends to integrate with any digital press.
Cartwright expects the first UK installs next year.
The Concepta is a development of its Concept press. A web offset machine with up to 12 towers, any of which can be converted into a flexo unit. It will be on the Kodak Versamark stand with ink-jet personalisation.
A new feeder for the Supra saddle stitcher, which lifts throughput from 25,000 to 30,000 per hour, will be demonstrated as will the Perfetto and Robusto stackers.
The Frontero face trimmer is a new option for its perfect binders that can produce books with gatefold covers in one-pass without slowing the line down.
