Insolvency practitioner KPMG was appointed as administrator to Formpro on 22 December 2009, before key assets of the business were sold in a pre-pack deal to former owner Michael Hughes the following day.
At the time, 61 jobs moved across to Hughes' new acquisition vehicle, Latcham Consulting, while a further 61 staff were made redundant.
At the time, the administrators said they were reviewing the remainder of the business, leaving around 50 staff in limbo.
However, a spokesman for KPMG told PrintWeek today: "Unfortunately, we have had to make a further 28 redundancies since then, with around 30 staff remaining.
"These staff are completing the remainder of print work, which is expected to be completed in the next two or three days. After that, most will be made redundant. Probably leaving around half a dozen who will help the administrators wind down the business."
