The new model is based on the manufacturer's JV33 series and features a print width of 2.6m while offering improved production speeds over previous models in the range.
The JV34-260 can print at speeds of 30sqm an hour and Hybrid is pitching the machine at customers producing a range of jobs from banners and flags to indoor display graphics.
Offering print resolutions up to 540x1440dpi, the machine features an automatic media feeder that provides continuous web tension over the whole width of the substrate.
John de la Roche, national sales manager at Hybrid Services, said the new Mimaki JV34-260 made "a sound investment".
He added: "The proven platform coupled with Mimaki’s production printing know-how ensures print providers will benefit from the increase in capacity and quality that the JV34 can deliver."
The Mimaki JV34-260 will be available in April 2011. Pricing was unconfirmed at the time of writing.
