The French digital printing and finishing equipment manufacturer said it had sold kit to customers in countries including the UK, US, France, Germany and China, and orders had been placed for all the commercially available machines on its stand.
“It’s the largest drupa for us by far in terms of space, staff and exposure. We would be blessed to leave the show reaching triple figure sales – and it’s still possible,” said MGI USA managing director Michael Abergel.
The firm’s show launches include the Jetvarnish 3D Evolution, which it claims is the world’s first digital sheetfed enhancement press to be retro upgradable from a B2 to B1. Also on show is the new AIS SmartScanner sheet registration system, which will be installed on all of MGI’s technology, including the Meteor DP8700 XL+ toner-based digital press.
