The Leeds-based company handles a range of packaging design, artwork and reprographics for a variety of blue-chip clients.
It said the wide-format inkjet printer, coupled with the GMG package, would help it produce halftone proofs for flexo and packaging applications.
Andy Wilson, colour manager at Matthews Brand Solutions, said the company spent a year investigating the inkjet market prior to investing in the WT7900 package.
He said: "We were interested in UV, but the look and feel of the proofs weren't acceptable. The Epson fits in with our current strategy."
