Manroland GB sponsors Lewis Hamilton's "Apprentice" Alfie Brown

Manroland GB has done its bit to promote the future of young UK racing talent after putting the company's name to Alfie Brown, an eight-year-old racing prodigy.

The youngster, who has already been tagged as an apprentice to Lewis Hamilton, is making headway in the go-karting sport.

Competing in the Super One national championships, Alfie is being helped out with consumables such as tyres, oil and fuel, a different type of consumable manroland would normally tend to deal with.

Norman Revill, managing director, manroland GB said the child star came to the company's attention through a colleague in the manufacturer's print services division.

"By all accounts Alfie is a talented young driver and manroland will support him as far as he wants to go in his sport," he added.
