At Ipex the Romford-based company, which was runner-up as PrintWeek SME Company of the Year for 2001, ordered a five-colour Lithrone 520 and a five-colour Lithrone 528 with coater, along with a System 4000 from Duplo.
Lynhurst Press managing director Alec Samuels said: "Weve got a good relationship with a lot of publishers so we have constant work. I hear that the trade is quiet sometimes but at times we seem to be busting a gut."
The increase in work has forced the 30-staff firm to start running a night shift on top of its usual double days.
The new firepower will complement the companys existing five-colour Komori Lithrone 528, four-colour 428 and Komori Sprint. The firm also uses a Duplo Graphic Wizard 12000 numbering and scoring machine.
The new kit will be installed when Lynhurst moves to larger premises.
Samuels opted for Komori and Duplo because he had been impressed with previous dealings.
