The 10-staff, Hanover-based business installed the flagship XL 8000 in December last year.

Managing director Detlef Andratschke said the firm’s main focus was CAD work, but that he hoped to target the commercial wide-format market with the XL 8000 as well as boost production capacity.

He said that one of the key drivers for purchasing the PageWide system was its impressive speed of 23m/min in colour and black and white, the high print quality, and the flexibility of the substrates it could handle.
