Limetree Offset, based in Wickford, Essex, is one of the first printing firms in the UK to install the 920mm-wide model of the GW machine.
Limetree director Gavin Milton said: "We needed a replacement for a very old guillotine that we had been using since the creation of this business. The GW certainly appears to do everything that we need."
He added that the guillotine's programmable capability is "quite a step forward from where we were. It is a tremendous advantage in terms of productivity".
At Ipex, held in May this year, the used-equipment manufacturer DPM announced that it would become the official UK supplier for the Chinese company GW guillotines.

B2 commercial printer Limetree Offset has augmented its finishing department by installing a K92CD GW guillotine supplied by DPM, the Chinese manufacturer's recently appointed agent in the UK.
