The Glasgow-based company's investment is the latest stage of a five-year expansion plan that has topped £4m in its first two years.
According to Alex Mulvenny, managing director at Labelgraphics, the press investment arrives on the back of a "dramatic increase in business" while enabling the printer to increase both capacity and flexibility.
He added: "Quality is also a crucial factor and we consider Gallus to be leading the label-printing market in this."
The family-run business specialises in pressure sensitive labels on clear on clear, metalised and laminated foils, screen printing, foil blocking and embossing processes.
Its newest press is capable of producing unsupported film and self adhesive labels. It combines six printing processes that include offset, flexo, screen, embossing and hot and cold foil stamping.
According to Mulvenny, the next step for the 27-year-old company is to buy land in the coming three months to build its own purpose-built factory
"These ambitious business and investment strategies will keep Labelgraphics at the forefront of the UK and European beverage label industry," the company added.
