Paul Squires has joined the press manufacturer’s UK operation as area sales manager for the South West. He started in the new role on 1 September.
Squires has worked in the industry for more than 25 years, including a dozen at Butler & Tanner in sales and production roles. Since 2007 he’s worked at award-winning Hampton Printing, most recently as business development account director.
Squires said he was looking forward to working with the "fantastic, helpful and friendly" K&B team in the UK and Germany and "developing a strong partnership around the UK to share the exciting cutting edge technological developments Koenig & Bauer has to offer".
"Koenig & Bauer has developed immensely over the years with some fantastic offerings in press configurations and post-press equipment with a dominant presence in the packaging market and ever growing presence in the commercial sector," he added.
Koenig & Bauer UK sales director Chris Scully said Squires the right skills, experience and background to be able to “impart the Koenig & Bauer advantage”.
He added that the appointment “follows the strategy to continually strengthen the team with seasoned professionals. Paul will be working with our existing and potential customers to grow our UK market share in press and post-press."
