The event, at the Perivale headquarters of finishing equipment supplier Intelligent Finishing Systems, will run on 7-9 and 14-16 June.

The K305 is aimed at companies that handle small-to mid-size mailings and has a running speed of up to 3,600 items per hour.

It has an object feeder, which Kern considers a world first, which allows for a broad variety of mailing combinations, including brochures, catalogues, leaflets, single-sheet documents and reply envelopes. The feeder can also cater for CDs, DVDs, pens and other promotional gifts. 

Kern's UK sales manager Clive Martin said: "The K305 is ideal for large SMEs and local government departments, estate agents and councils that need to do a variety of mailing jobs but only wish to invest in a single system.

"It is uniquely versatile and offers a complete solution for all mailing needs, whether these are marketing campaigns, critical customer communications or transactional mailings."

He added that the modular machine could also be used as an additional machine for companies' high volume, high speed inserting jobs.
