The new DNA paper is a joint venture between the Dainik Bhaskar Group and the Zee Group, and it hopes to directly compete with popular broadsheet title, The Times of India.
According to DNA's senior marketing manager Sumit Rohatgi, the company invested nearly RS 200 Crore in the edition, taking into account infrastructure, campaigns and promotions.
The daily comes with two special pull-outs – DNA After Hours, an entertainment supplement, and DNA Money, a six-page business section.
The KBA Prisma 4x1 can print at speeds of 85,000 copies per hour.
