"We wanted to offer something our competitors couldn't," said joint director Pippa Redmond. "And we wanted to attack the high end of the market with something that could add affordable luxury to our product range."
She said that customers that had already seen the output were "as excited as we were".
The first job produced on the machine was a set of 10 banners using gold and silver metallics to promote the Eastern Daily Press Wedding Show.
Other applications that the firm is offering using the new machine include stickers, window graphics, exhibition graphics, point of sale and floor graphics.
Redwood added that the machine's white ink and integrated cutter made it extremely versatile.
Husband and joint director Mark first saw the machine at a Roland roadshow.
"When he was told about it over the phone it wasn't of interest; it was only when he saw the results that he spotted the benefits," added Redmond. "You really have to see the results, which is why we're having an open day."
The open day, which will be held on the 5 February will be opened by Chloe Smith MP for Norwich North.
