The Glasgow-based firm has already launched an Edinburgh operation and managing director Kevin Creechan said that J Thomson would be looking at “all aspects of diversification”.
The Edinburgh operation will cover typesetting, customer services as well as its sales activities.
“With Edinburgh as the financial heartland, we wanted to provide a better level of customer service,” said Creechan.
J Thomson runs a Heidelberg pressroom using three B1 Speedmasters including a 12-colour SM 102-12-P.
