The trade association said the event would bring together a cross section of printers, print buyers, suppliers, designers, marketing agencies, and technology developers.
Matthew Ruff, chair of the IPIA events subcommittee, said: “Last year’s event was a huge success, largely down to the structure of the event and providing the opportunity to meet new connections and share experiences of the market.
“Not only are our events great for meeting potential new clients, but they are also perfect for finding future collaborators and maintaining existing relationships.”
The IPIA said the lunch includes a "glass of bubbly or two" on arrival, a French cuisine three course lunch, wine, beer, and soft drinks, and a networking introduction service.
Orelle is a five-minute walk from both Birmingham New Street and Snow Hill stations. It is situated at the top of Birmingham’s tallest building and offers panoramic views of the city.
Charles Rogers, IPIA chairman, added: “We recognise that everyone is busy, and choosing to take a day out of the business to attend networking events means the day must deliver a ROI.
“We endeavour to ensure that we know who is of interest to those attending in advance of the lunch, and effect as many introductions as possible on the day, creating the opportunity for that ROI to become a reality.
“Everyone who attends an IPIA networking event is made to feel very welcome – so if you are new to us, rest assured you will be well looked after. We aim to make the event a positive investment of your time.”
Welcome drinks will begin at 12pm and guests are seated for lunch at 1pm. To maximise everyone’s conversations, people move from table to table between courses. The event at Orelle will finish at 4.30pm although guests that are not pressed for time will be able to continue at a nearby venue.
Tickets for IPIA members are £114 while non-member tickets are £176. They are available at: ipia.org.uk/snl23.
