Prominent members of IPAMA and key members of the printing industry attended the event in Noida Sector 62 of Delhi NCR.
IPAMA's centre, which will provide advanced training in print technology, will have a 1890sqm floor area and a four-storey structure.
The first and second floors will house a graphic art engineering and design centre, with the third storey providing an area for visitors.
It is being set up in collaboration with the Association for Suppliers of Printing, Publishing and Converting Technologies (NPES) and the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT).
Construction of the centre will begin soon, an IPAMA spokesman said.
